Get an intensive and deep immersion into a new dancing style for 4 weeks with 2-hour classes!
Strip Dance is not in any way about taking off your clothes but rather about baring your emotions and expressing yourself in a femme dance choreography without pole.
This class is perfect for those who have zero dancing experience as well as for those who have some experience in other dancing styles (e.g. pole level 1-2 students are welcome).
We will focus on:
•Learning the very basic moves on which strip dance is built upon, developing body plasticity;
•Figuring out dancing techniques in detail (handwork, legwork, isolation and flow etc), work on perfecting them;
•Giving special attention to esthetic side of dancing (cleanliness, posture, perfect lines and angles);
•Getting acquainted with basic strip acrobatic tricks (shoulder rolls, safe drops, jumps etc) simultaneously improving our functional strength;
•Dancing combinations made up of the moves we learned, improving our muscle memory;
•Learning to feel at ease and comfortable with being ourselves while dancing.
Strip Dance is usually performed in strip shoes, about 6-7 inches, but you can surely dance in whatever heels you want or in socks as well.
